Time out for 1, kicked out for the other!

The movie for the night was The Eye with Jessica Alba. The movie is boring for the usual bunch that enjoys horror flicks. I had to shut up several rows of kids before the movie even started. The I go back to the box area and catch a usual trouble maker trying to get a refund. I told him he needed to be 18 and have ID to get a refund. Then he said he wanted his refund because there were no seats together. I told him I would find them seats and he stated that the movie was already started. He and his friends were here early enough to get seats together but chose to hang out in the lobby. I told him I would give him a readmit and he said no. He asked some older gentleman to get his refund for him and I told him it needed to be his parent. He then started cussing. He said the man was his cousin and that he was the cousin of all his friends. This was not the first time I have had problems with this teen. The last time, I let his "cousin" get the refunds for them. I told him I would not do it again. He said I was the only one who followed this rule and that I was going to refund his ticket. He then told me he was going to snap in a minute and if his mom had to come up then I would be sorry. I then told him that I would be happy to get him a readmit and he could use it next weekend. He yelled "why are you still talking to me" and I told him that he could leave. He proceded to cuss at me and I had the police officer remove him from the building. I stated that he needed to leave and should not be getting a refund. The officer took the teen outside and spoke with him. All his friends were calling me names under their breaths. I left to go on break and went to the office to cool off. I was so pissed at this punk.

Then....
It was about an hour later that I noticed some young boy playing with the cords we use to section off areas. I told him to quit playing with them or he would have to leave. I looked over a few minutes later and he was playing with them again. I told him to have a seat on the bench and then I sat besides him. His friends were laughing at him because he was in a "time-out." I told him that all his friends were laughing at him for sitting with me. He said he didn't care. I said that his friends were saying things like: "Dang, you got a time out, dang you had to sit with the manager, dang you got busted!" He said, "Dang, you know our language!" It was quite funny to be honest.

Why can't the rest of these idiots act like that? He was cool with getting busted and had a sense of humor. It was nice for a change and I get to keep my ass intact. His momma wasn't going to get me later. We all laughed for a while on this one. At least the night got better. Until next time...see ya at the movies!
